Why always Amsterdam?

During the first Thursday, we will visit Delft. This is such a wonderful city. Amsterdam has the name but Delft is smaller, cheaper, not that busy and more original. A good reason to visit Delft.

Delft is a typically Dutch city with old streets and canals. Many tourists instantly think of Amsterdam when it comes to visiting our country, but Delft has the same allure, despite it being a lot smaller. Just like Amsterdam, the city is known for its historic town centre with canals. However, it won’t be crowded with tourists too much. Therefore, it is the perfect city for us to visit in the second week of SummerSchool.

Delft is only a fifteen-minute train ride away from Rotterdam. Hopefully, if the weather is good, we will be able to see the flower markets and Delft Blue pottery, which the city is loved for. Visiting Delft is going to be a daytrip and all students will be sent out on a fun adventure. Before heading home we will end the day with a lovely dinner.
